  • Colon Cancer Update Seminar
  • Touch, Caring, and Cancer Class
  • Oncology Nurses of North Alabama Seminar
  • Scholarships to National Oncology Conferences
  • Survivorship Program

In 2011, the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation was awarded a grant from the Alpha Foundation, Inc. These funds are being used to support cancer research and patient assistance. Also in 2011, the Foundation was awarded a grant from the North Central Alabama Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. These funds were used to support a Women’s Breast Cancer Education Program for the rural areas of Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Morgan counties. The program instructed women about breast health, risk factors for breast cancer, the family factor of breast cancer, and self breast exam.
