UAH Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity Donates 100 IPads for Patient’s use While Undergoing Treatment
The UAH ATO fundraiser, 2015 Battle of the Buffalo, raised more than $19,000 for the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation. Battle of the Buffalo was started in the spring of 2009 in memory of their fraternity brother Paul “Fish” Salmon who passed away from leukemia in 2007.
With the proceeds from this fundraiser Russel Hill Cancer Foundation purchased 100 Ipads for Cancer Patients to use while undergoing treatment at Clearview Cancer Institute.
“These young men are truly amazing,” said Carol King of Russel Hill Cancer Foundation. “They care about the people in the community and want to make a difference for those who are affected by cancer.”
